Recently the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark Health Unit lifted the Section 22 Class order in Mississippi Mills as the area transitioned into the Yellow – Protect, and as of today, the Red-Control level. For more information on the Red- Control level restrictions and measures please visit the Health Unit’s website. With the Class order lifted, the Municipality will be reopening it’s facilities to the public during regular hours of operations starting tomorrow, Tuesday March 23rd , 2021, at 8:30 am

The Mississippi Mills Fire Department are reminding residents to be cautious when burning this weekend.

This weekend will bring warm weather to the area and everyone will be seeking to get outdoors.  The recent snow melt and high winds have created dry conditions in some areas of the municipality.  Everyone who wishes to burn must ensure they have a valid 2021 Burn Permit and exercise caution when burning.
