Lanark County Outlines Construction Projects for 2024

Construction season is nearly here! Lanark County Public Works plans to complete pavement preservation on 17 kilometres of roads this year, with rehabilitation scheduled for 27.9 km and paved shoulders slated for 20.3 km.

The county oversees the construction, operation, repair and maintenance of more than 560 km of roads and 82 bridge and culvert structures.

The total capital budget for this year is $13.7 million, with the federal Canada Community-Building Fund...

Mississippi Mills Babysitting Course – April 20 and 21, 2024

The Municipality is offering a two-day Babysitting Course Saturday, April 20 and Sunday, April 21, 2024.

The course runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days, at the Almonte District High School (126 Martin Street North). The cost is $50 (cash or cheque only). Must be 12 years of age or older to take the course.
